In working Inter-modally, I offer visual arts, movement, voice, writing, music, and even drama as therapeutic tools we can work with. I also have additional training that supports my use of tools from Narrative Therapy, Relational Cultural Theory and Internal Family Systems.

As an Expressive Arts Therapist, I work within a psychotherapeutic framework as well as with the philosophical principles of Poiesis - "the activity in which a person brings something into being that did not exist before" (Levine, 2011)

I work within a trauma informed framework and continue to unlearn and learn in order to offer a therapeutic setting that is anti-oppressive, anti-racist and anti-ableist.

Since 2019 I have gained specialization in Perinatal Mental Health, supporting all birthing and non-birthing parents/caregivers in their journeys. This includes supporting birthing, non-birthing, partners, adoptive, fostering and/or any there caregivers on their journey into and through being caregivers. This also includes working with ender queer, non-binary, trans, inter-sex parents, parents with disabilities, and parents of all races and ethnicities, and at various intersectional social locations.

I practice through a trauma informed, anti-oppressive, anti-racist and anti-ableist lens. I can offer services in english and French, and can find referrals to therapists with other language offerings as needed. I am also happy to provide referrals for services in order to ensure folx find therapists they feel safe working with.

I am aware that finances are often a barrier to seeking support for my clients. I am able to offer sliding scale on a case by case basis.
